ALTITUDE WORSHIP
From the very first season at Altitude, sung worship has been our battle cry. In the chalet and on the mountain slope, during a ski angel shift or at apres-ski bars, our songs to Jesus have anchored us in His love and empowered us in His spirit. We believe it’s time to share our sound. To raise up new melodies with Jesus at the centre, so that a generation of young people are radically changed. But music is not enough. This is all about Jesus. We believe His life changing love ignites transformation. Music just makes room for the igniting.
So join us as we begin this journey.
Here at Altitude Mission, we are fuelled and guided by worship and prayer. Just as the priests at Jericho went ahead of the army, sounding trumpets, we cover all of what we do with worship.
Altitude Worship has always been part of the vision for Altitude Mission, however it’s looked so different over the last years as we’ve progressed from starting church in Meribel to where we are now. It began with a single guitar, not many people able to play it, hymn books, YouTube videos, and a passionate congregation. Amongst some obvious challenges this made the most beautiful space to worship, however we also knew there was opportunity for more. What constantly inspires us, is having a picture of the chapel in Meribel with its roof lifted right off by the sound of worship; All the while God put it on our hearts to grow Altitude Worship.
Our prayers are being answered as year after year we are being blessed with worship leaders and passionate congregation coming to visit, or spend a season with us in Meribel. We are honoured to have been able to record 4 Altitude Worship tracks from our very own Meribel Chapel during the 22/23 winter season. Check them out below!
